In 1790, 9 of the mutineers from the Bounty, together with the indigenous Tahitian gentlemen and females who were being with them (6 guys, eleven women, and a baby girl), settled on Pitcairn Island and established fire to the Bounty. In 2004, rates had been laid in opposition to seven men residing on Pitcairn and 6 living abroad.
