Roland ends up dying as effectively, the moment he finds out what took place. The Book of Lost Things features the knight Roland, who is attempting to discover out what occurred to his lost lover, Raphael. Puck and Jack come across a tomb full of hundreds if not 1000's of useless versions of Puck.
